Getting here
Let's get you here.
Sky Harbor is fifteen minutes away. Genuinely one of the easiest airports in the country.
Phoenix Sky Harbor
Straight shot on I-10. Rental center is a quick sky-train ride from the terminals.
Phoenix-Mesa Gateway
Budget carriers land here. Cheap fares, longer drive across the Valley.
Rental car, definitely 🚗
The Valley is enormous and spread out. Rideshare works but the fares add up fast between the plant and downtown.
All drive times are approximate — traffic gets a vote.
Stay
Sleep well.
A few places we'd recommend when you're in town.
Hampton Inn Phoenix Midtown
Concur Most Preferred. Central, easy to Sky Harbor and out to the plant.
Home2 Suites By Hilton Phoenix Midtown
Concur Most Preferred. Kitchenette suites for a longer stay.
Tru By Hilton Phoenix Midtown
Concur Most Preferred and the value pick in Midtown.
Holiday Inn Express and Suites Phoenix West - Tolleson
Concur preferred and the closest contract hotel to the west-side plant.

Tortillas made on site. Ten-dollar lunch, decades-long line.

Frequently called the best pizza in America. Go early or expect a queue.
The Larder + The Delta
Grown-up dinner that still lands under the high-cost-city allowance.
Cartel Coffee Lab
Local roaster, several locations, all good.

Good to know
A few things the locals know.
No daylight saving
Arizona doesn't change clocks. Double-check meeting times half the year.
Summer is extreme
110°F+ is normal June through August. Park in shade, keep water, and don't plan midday walks.
Monsoon season
July and August bring sudden dust storms and downpours. Pull over if visibility drops.
Local tip
Hydrate before you think you need to, and never leave anything meltable in the car.
