Mile roads
Addresses run off the mile road grid. 23 Mile and Gratiot is your landmark.
Winter driving
Lake-effect snow off St. Clair can arrive fast. Clear the whole car, not just the windshield.
Traffic
I-94 south toward Detroit backs up hard before 9 AM.
Local tip
Everything worth eating is on Gratiot or 23 Mile. You'll learn the mile roads fast.
